  • About

Mon Valley Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing safe, affordable homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Since 1990, MVHFH has completed 57 homes & provided housing for 232 individuals.

Mon Valley Habitat for Humanity works through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials. The volunteers help our committees, construction and ReStore, which opened in Morgantown in 2007. The ReStore takes donations of new and lightly used furniture and other housing materials, as well as building materials. The items are then sold at a discounted rate to the general public, and the proceeds go towards funding the construction of Habitat homes in our service areas.
